Craftsmanship in every detail: from the objects on our tables to the décor of our Houses

At La Subida, craftsmanship doesn’t stop at the table. The objects around us always have a story to tell too…
In many of our spaces, you can feel the hand and style of the artisans of our land.

Giorgio Benedetti, a Friulian artist who has been working in his atelier in Cividale del Friuli since 1985, has left his mark on more than one piece: from the antler tree that has found its place in the restaurant’s “Hunting Room”, to other details in our Houses, all the way to the balustrade of the terrace at The Nest. His works are defined by fluidity and movement; they feel almost alive, deeply bound to the nature that surrounds our village.

A new signature that has recently arrived on our tables is that of Amorino Ceramiche: in Udine, the artisan Alice works her raw materials in a direct, experimental way. Our spittoons are one-of-a-kind, handcrafted pieces, each one defined by intense colors and rich, tactile textures.

Two different ways of approaching craftsmanship, yet one shared idea at heart: true beauty is born of patient skill and an authentic relationship with the material.

Here, craftsmanship lives in every space and every element: in the flavors on the plate, of course, but also in the details, in objects chosen one by one to express who we are, the values we hold dear, and the way we want to tell the story of our own little universe.
